Personal Narrative Outline

I am writing about a lacrosse wall ball room, which is just a plain room with four walls with nothing in it. I am writing about it because I grew up playing lacrosse in that room and had many injuries where I could only stand in that room and practice because I couldn't run, and I would think about college and many other stressful events in that room. It was always very theraputic for me. The room is painted bright orange and has nothing in it except a door to get in and out. On the walls are names of everyone in my family painted on because when you graduate as a senior who played lacrosse, you can paint your name on the wall, and I am the youngest of a big lacrosse family.

1. Freshman year my doctors thought I had a brain tumor and I couldn't play full contact so my coach made me play in the wall ball room alone. I was by myself the whole time, bouncing the ball against the wall because I couldn't do anything else. I was a freshman in high school, and I remember crying in the room because I was so scared, and hearing people talk about it as they walked by the room.

2. My junior year of high school I had to decide if I wanted to play lacrosse in college and go to a small private school or go to a big state school and have a typical college experience. I was by myself again. It was here when I decided to fire my recruiting agent. I was nervous I was making the wrong decision, since everyone in my family played lacrosse in college. I was 17 at the time.

3. I was a senior and captain of the varsity team. I was leading the wall ball warm ups because that was my job as captain. I was observing the younger girls on my team practicing, thinking that they were in the exact same position as me.
